Endangered Species are species that are facing the problem of extinction. Few species like Asian elephants, Snow leopards, Gorilla, Black Buck and more are facing extinction due to deforestation, urbanization, poaching and more.
Here is a chart of the current status of some endangered species:

Protecting animals / species form getting poached can help in many things like, it helps in preserving endangered species, It can maintain biodiversity, It can protect ecosystems, It can increase economic benefits, and more.
We should try to stop things like poaching, increasing urbanization and more as they are a part of our life and without them, we would not have been born on planet Earth.
By following these things we can protect endangered animals / species.
