This song, “Take All of Me,” was written for a school songwriting competition on environmental issues. Performed with an acoustic guitar, it personifies Mother Nature as a heartbroken lover, giving endlessly while humanity takes without care. It was a wonderful experience hitching up the lyrics in a matter of hours- listening to Taylor Swift and Hozier during the process, only to realise that their writing styles have influenced the vivid imagery and story-telling in the song lyrics itself.
