The UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of interconnected objectives adopted in 2015 to create a more prosperous, peaceful, and sustainable world by 2030. These goals address a wide range of global challenges, including poverty, hunger, health, education, gender equality, clean water, affordable and clean energy, economic growth, industry and innovation, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities, responsible consumption and production, climate action, life below water, life on land, peace and justice, and global partnerships. Each goal has specific targets and indicators to guide progress and measure achievement. The SDGs are a universal call to action, urging all countries—developed and developing—to work together to achieve these ambitious goals, recognizing that action in one area affects outcomes in others.
