1).Portulaca grandiflora is a succulent flowering plant in the purslane family .

2).Portulacaceae, native to southern Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay and often cultivated in gardens. 

3). It has many common names, including rose moss, eleven o'clock,Mexican rose,moss rose,sun rose, rose Jepun, table rose,[citation needed] rock rose,and moss-rose purslane.

What is the use of it ?? 😲 

Portulaca flowers, commonly known as moss roses, are used both ornamentally and medicinally. They are popular for their vibrant, colorful blooms and ability to thrive in hot, sunny conditions, making them ideal for rock gardens, borders, and containers. Medicinally, different parts of the portulaca plant, including the flowers, have been used in traditional medicine for various purposes, such as treating sore throats, skin and  rashes.

Sepals:

These are the small, leaf-like structures that enclose the developing bud. In Portulaca, there are usually two sepals, and they are fused at the base. 

Stamens:

These are the male reproductive parts of the flower, producing pollen. Portulaca flowers can have many stamens, sometimes 40 or more. 

Stigmas:

These are the female reproductive parts, where pollen is received. Portulaca flowers usually have 5 to 8 stigmas. 

Leaves:

The leaves of Portulaca are typically fleshy, linear, and sometimes described as succulent. They can be alternate or opposite, and are often clustered at stem joints and ends. 

Taproot:

The Portulaca plant has a taproot, which is a main, central root, with fibrous secondary roots branch .
