• Use LED Bulbs
    Replace old incandescent or CFL bulbs with LED bulbs. They use less energy and help in saving energy.

  • Unplug Devices When Not in Use
    Many devices use electricity even when turned off . Unplug chargers, electronics, and appliances when not in use, or use a power strip with an on/off switch.

  • Optimize Appliance Use
    Run dishwashers and washing machines only with full loads. And hang the clothes on ropes and let them dry in the sun insted of using a dryer

  • Use Natural Light and Ventilation
    During the day, open curtains to let in natural light instead of using electric lights. Also open windows to cool down rooms naturally instead of relying heavily on air conditioning.
