World Earth Day is celebrated every year on 22nd April. It is a day to remind ourselves how important the Earth and environment are to us. The first Earth Day was celebrated in 1970 in the USA, and now it is observed all over the world.
The Earth gives us everything—air, water, food, shelter, and beauty. But due to pollution, deforestation, climate change, and overuse of resources, our planet is getting damaged.
Earth Day encourages people to plant trees, reduce plastic use, recycle, save water, and use eco-friendly products. Schools and communities organize clean-up drives, tree plantations, and awareness programs on this day.
Every small step counts. If each one of us takes care of the Earth, it will stay safe and green for the future.
