Trees are one of the most important parts of nature. They give us clean air to breathe, shade from the hot sun, and fruits and flowers to enjoy.

Trees help keep the Earth cool by taking in carbon dioxide and giving out oxygen. They also stop soil erosion and help bring rain. Birds, animals, and insects live in trees, so they are like homes for many creatures.

We use wood from trees to make furniture, paper, and houses. Even medicines come from tree parts!

Just like a best friend, trees protect us, help us, and never ask for anything in return. That’s why we must take care of trees—plant more, never cut them without a reason, and water them often.
