World Dolphin Day is an important time to raise awareness about the plight of these majestic sea creatures, notably because of their endangered status due to human activity. This day is slightly different from National Dolphin Day, which is celebrated in April and typically only observed in the United States. The main theme of Freshwater Dolphin Day 20018 is “Increase dolphins, increase livelihoods”. The Ganges River Dolphin or also called 'Susu,' is the National Aquatic Animal of India. A new logo and new uniforms were unveiled shortly before the 2013 NFL draft. The new logo features a stylized aqua dolphin swimming in front of a heavily modified version of the orange sunburst.
