2 feburary,
World Wetlands Day, we celebrate nature’s silent protectors. Wetlands are not just water-filled lands — they are the Earth’s natural kidneys. They purify water, control floods, support wildlife, and provide homes to countless plants and animals.
The importance of this day goes back to the Ramsar Convention, signed in Ramsar, which focuses on conserving wetlands worldwide.
But today, many wetlands are disappearing due to pollution, construction, and climate change. If wetlands disappear, water security, biodiversity, and our environment are at risk.
So, let us take a pledge — protect water, avoid pollution, and spread awareness. Saving wetlands means saving our future.
Protect Wetlands. Protect Life.
Thank you.
