Know Your History and Culture: Why We Must Preserve It
Our history and culture are like a big storybook that tells us who we are. It includes our festivals, dances, music, clothes, food, and old monuments. These things make our country special and different from others.
Today, many traditions are slowly fading. Some children do not know much about their past. That is why we must learn about our culture and keep it alive. For example, when we celebrate festivals like Diwali or Onam in the traditional way, we are keeping our culture strong.
We can also preserve our history by respecting monuments, speaking our mother tongue, reading about great leaders, and listening to stories from our elders.
When we protect our culture, we give a precious gift to the next generation. They will understand the beauty of our country and feel proud of it.
*A nation that knows its history is always stronger.*
