High above the earth so blue,
Lies a shield, protecting you.
Ozone layer, thin yet strong,
Guards our world the whole day long.
It blocks the sun’s harsh burning rays,
And lets us live in safer ways.
But smoke and waste, and careless deeds,
Have harmed the shield the planet needs.
So plant a tree, and walk, not ride,
Keep the earth on nature’s side.
Save energy, choose green each day,
Let ozone heal in its own way.
Together we can mend the sky,
Protect the earth, keep futures high.
For every child deserves to say:
“We saved our shield on Ozone Day and Every Day.”
